ABSTRACT
In election times the citizen has to decide between political parties and candidates competing for seats. Voting in favor of a party does, however, not depend on just one factor of influence, but behind this decision complex patterns of mutually influencing factors are very often concealed. These can be psychological components just as much as rational decisions, or the influence of social structures.
