ABSTRACT
The principal aim of this article is to present an empirical and quantitative analysis of the internal structures of the electorates of the three parliamentary parties, the SPÖ, ÖVP and FPÖ. Above all, breakdowns along sociostructural dimensions will be used to examine the internal structures of the Socialist, Catholic-Conservative and Freedom Party electorates. 1
