ABSTRACT
The structure and behavior of the GLOBUS domestic economic model are explained in this chapter. Two fundamental determinants of model design are the issue analyses to be performed with a model and the theory about the reality represented by the model. This introductory section, therefore, treats the influence of the former on the GLOBUS domestic economic model, while the next section turns to theory.
