ABSTRACT
Between 1990 and 1993 the Jordanian Armed Forces were stagnant. Force-building and weapons system enhancement were at a standstill. The country’s dire economic straits did not permit it to devote assets to any significant buildup. Nevertheless during 1992 the armed forces commenced a process of genuine internal change.
