ABSTRACT
Various kinds of provocative broadcasts are made, and articles are published, aimed at casting aspersions on the changes taking place in country and at driving a wedge between the Party leadership and the people. The work methods of the Party agencies' leadership cadres should be such that they can rely on the activeness of the people—both political and labor activeness. The interests of the Party and the people are inseparable, and choice and political course are firm and unshakable. Cadres—Party, Soviet and economic—must learn to work in conditions of the expansion of democracy, the invigoration of the human factor, and the unfolding of the peoples initiative. The aktiv should deal with the economy better and analyze phenomena and facts more thoroughly and in an up-to-date manner. The government and the State Planning Committee are working out a draft resolution on measures for the comprehensive development of the productive forces of the Far East Economic Region.
