ABSTRACT
Using a multidisciplinary speculative approach, which includes neuroscience, philosophy, anthropology, critical studies, and science and technology studies this chapter maps out a possible trajectory for the development of a dedicated module for telepathy upon those neural circuits already in play in our capacity of the theory of mind. Using Darwinian, Baldwinian, and Lamarkian evolutionary arguments I wager that similar strategies at play in the production of dedicated neural modules for reading and writing that commenced in the past, will, once again, be relied upon to produce our new mental capacities. This ability will become a strategy of resistance to the new totalitarian propensity of the immanent neural economy of neural capitalism in the age of singularity.
