ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of home visiting by two home-based primary care social workers. It seeks, through case examples and personal experience, to highlight the challenges and rewards of home-based social work. Pertinent topics such as self-determination, boundaries, family meetings, coordination with community providers and issues of abuse and neglect are discussed.
