ABSTRACT
In his work on the Christian cabala, Professor Blau has argued that the study and use of cabala by Christian scholars was but a momentary occupation. In the end however, Christian cabala was destined to die, for “like astrology, alchemy, and other pseudo-sciences, cabala fell a legitimate victim to the development of scientific thinking.” According to the Bible, God created the world through speech. He spoke and the world came into being. Even in the exciting world of magic and cosmogonic speculation, it is passing strange that the Golem of twentieth-century science should have come to the aid of the researcher to explain something of the mighty deeds of the Creator. The emendation to TV-VB has one advantage and one disadvantage. The advantage is that all the key words except NG-GO then appear only in the upper line.
