ABSTRACT

This article reviews the activities of the Pennsylvania Union List of Serials (PaULS) and updates the status to early 1987. Developments following the end of formal support to PaULS by the State Library of Pennsylvania in late 1984 are described. Efforts to put PaULS on a firm maintenance base are examined. The roles of the State Library of Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Regional Library Center (PRLC), Palinet, and individual institutions participating in PaULS are discussed. Some consideration is given to the future of PaULS.
