ABSTRACT

In many ways the United States is a pluralistic nation. In the absence of any mandated national-level plan for internationalisation, higher education institutions, like the University of Denver (DU), set their own missions and values in accordance with individual contexts and objectives. At DU, academic application of the Educational Quality at Universities for inclusive international Programmes continuing professional development programme could be helpful around our developing efforts in Internationalisation at Home. Widespread impact could be achieved through systematic collaboration with the Office of Teaching and Learning, in order to integrate these principles into centralised staff training and curriculum development conducted through this office. Educational developers with the competences put forth in the profile could aid in extending the community’s understanding and enactment of public good to include a more diverse and global scope.
