ABSTRACT
Food, along with landscape, and the body are fundamental to generate alternative epistemic reflections. Combining oral and written archives, this chapter seeks, from the perspective of the epistemologies of the South proposed by Boaventura de Sousa Santos, to understand how food, by invoking other stories, contacts cultural and identity processes, and enables the emergence of other ontologies.
