ABSTRACT
Malnutrition and disease are chronic problems in the Third World. It is difficult to find reliable statistical information that accurately describes the conditions. Problems with the statistics are discussed and statistics sources are presented. Then, specific diseases are noted and the literature covering the diseases follows.
