ABSTRACT

In recent years much has been written about the informational problems of the end-user, a term which to most librarians means simply those who use the services of libraries and information centers. Those interested in science and technology have many problems to face, one of which is the fast-growing technical literature and another is the complexities of some of the tools and products needed for retrieving information in these disciplines. Therefore it seems appropriate to devote an issue to the various ways in which sci-tech libraries are meeting the needs of our end-users.
