ABSTRACT
This chapter presents some of the reviews of the works of romantic women writers which were published in the Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure. The writers whose works were reviewed include Anna Laetitia Barbauld, Anna Maria Bennett, Elizabeth Bonhote, Eliza Nugent Bromley, Lady Elizabeth Craven, Maria Regina Dalton, and Elizabeth Inchbald.
