The following seven fragments from the Berg Collection and dated 28 November 1842 through 21 October 1843. Some of these random notes relate to the concerns with political economy and with Daniel O’Connell that are prominent in his published writings during this particular period. Others touch upon history, ethics, casuistry, and Christianity. A brief note on the manuscript will precede each transcript.
