ABSTRACT
The library and internet communities have been working on standards for identifying and referencing electronic resources. This is a report on recent library efforts, including work to record URL and URN (Uniform Resource Locator and Uniform Resource Number) information in USMARC records, and collaboration with the IETF to define a Uniform Resource Citation for electronic publications.
