ABSTRACT

Fiscal managers, administrators, faculty, and staff demand scientific quantitative justification for serials budgets. Rising costs force librarians to examine current subscriptions closely to ensure that journals meet the needs of library patrons. This workshop presents the methodology used by two libraries to provide automated access to collection data and to analyze the data on the in-house use of journal collections.
