ABSTRACT

When is a workshop not a workshop? When under the capable leadership of Marilyn Geller, Serials Cataloger, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries and Eleanor Cook, Serials Librarian, Appalachian State University, it becomes a sharing of experiences by an audience composed mostly of serials catalogers. A tightly structured, seven-part outline kept the discussion moving in an orderly fashion and the participants needed very little encouragement to become actively involved.
