ABSTRACT
The increasing use of sophisticated electronic systems is transforming the way academic libraries collect, store and transfer human knowledge. From automated cataloging and circulation to selected dissemination of information services, these support systems represent a wealth of untapped information for use in the planning and management of library resources and services.
