ABSTRACT
All reference librarians at one time or another use a few basic international reference works, if only the Statesman’s Yearbook or PAIS International. A cursory glance at Guide to Reference Books, or at the latest edition of Walford indicates the impressive number of reference books published abroad. On the whole, though, most foreign reference books are not much used by the average reference librarian.
