ABSTRACT
I envisioned writing a different epilogue to this wonderful book. As I’m writing this I’ve been quarantined at home for two weeks now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking out over quiet streets in the medieval canals of Utrecht I am seeing the world grind to a halt. We’re living through a global crisis, one which we have only read about in the history books. This is a crisis that has had educators worldwide scrambling to teach children online as 1.4 billion students are now out of school and at home.
