ABSTRACT

This chapter explains Emotional Freedom Technique or “tapping”, is to greatly reduce and in most cases completely eliminate the feeling of stage fright by gently tapping on specific meridian points to stimulate the body’s energy system and discharge blocked energy before a performance. The exercise can easily be used in session with the coach guiding the client through the steps. Perhaps reader are working with a client who is experiencing performance anxiety that manifests as shortness of breath, an inability to walk out on stage, difficulties making important calls to marketplace players to ask for gigs, or problems confronting situations where their career could be advanced or jeopardized. The client has decided that he needs to develop tools to assist him in building his confidence speaking and negotiating with club owners and managers.
