Fused Creative Blocks helps creatives create a clear and visual path for action. The naming could be as simple as picking one word that describes an emotion or it might be a phrase that tends to jump into coaches thoughts and stops they from creating. Write each emotion or thought pattern on a separate index card. Pick some new index cards to use to describe how amazing it feels to connect to coaches work, to produce something, or to spend time with what they love. Supplies are merely index cards and a set of colored pencils. Explain to coaches client that the emotions, possibilities, and limitations we all live with are all fair game to explore in this exercise. The coach and the client can prepare by spending a few minutes talking about how we all sometimes get stuck in rigid thinking. Fused Creative Blocks is an easy, self-guided exercise designed for anyone experiencing a creative block.
