ABSTRACT
This chapter uses vignettes and illustrations from my field experiences during a Fulbright Global award year I spent in the Balkans and South Asia. I reflect on how family and community engagement can be used to strengthen reconciliation and transitional justice mechanisms in a post conflict country.
