ABSTRACT

The chapter recaps some of the arguments discussed in the diverse contributions and restates the call for the consolidation of the concept of hybridity in the decolonial debates of African higher education as an alternative and inclusive future. It stresses the importance of widening the epistemological basis of African higher education within the philosophy of inclusive epistemology as articulated in the hybrid paradigm as the sine qua non-factor of the targeted decolonial goals. Concluding, the chapter speculates on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the progress of global decolonization.
