ABSTRACT
Current international developments in the field of newspaper librarianship and preservation are discussed. The existence of various national newspaper programs is pointed out, and the Canadian nation-wide plan described. Activities of the IFLA Working Group on Newspapers are outlined, and its major projects analyzed.
