ABSTRACT
From where better than the far Northwest could we hear about the mapping efforts that are essential to the cooperative management of library collections? These are pioneering efforts, especially as they reach beyond research libraries, and I listen with interest and respect to what our colleagues from the Northwest tell us about this frontier in library cooperation.
