ABSTRACT

The chapter asks the question ‘What is Jungian coaching and consulting?’ Taking into account different perspectives on the professional practice of corporate analytical psychology, the underlying roles and functions of Jungian practitioners are considered. The complex dynamics between the JCC and individual and multiple clients and stakeholders are discussed in the context of real assignments. The core idea of meaningfulness emerges as a practical description of the degree of connection with the central archetype of meaning, the Self. Engagement with the ethical dilemmas of Jungian work in organizations differentiates a boundary between Jungian coaching and consulting fieldwork and classical Jungian analysis, without excluding the latter as an option.
