ABSTRACT
Association football is the most popular game in the world. Its known origins are described and its symbolism, connoting a potential force for intra and international transformation of trauma is explored. Its power in the development of children is profound and a simple example of excellence is given. The short chapter, while complete in its own right is a counterpoint to the ‘Background to Jungian coaching and consulting in business’chapter.
