ABSTRACT
Strategies to sustain healthcare information exchange, interoperability, and standards across technical and administrative strategies exist across enterprises of all sizes while enabling a positive individual and clinician experience. The health informatics professional must maintain awareness and an appreciation of this critical topic to ensure that advanced care models are supported and organizations are demonstrating value by increasing quality and reducing costs, and implementing services that add value to a clinician’s workflow.
