ABSTRACT

The emergence of Industrial Revolution 4.0, the online learning mode, has increasingly been developed and implemented by all higher institutions over the world due to its positive impact on the educational system. Online learning systems are viewed as a potentially significant platform for learning and teaching processes. Massive open online courses (MOOCs) have gained attention among educators nowadays. Due to their features, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia started to develop MOOCs as a learning and teaching platform. The vision behind USIM MOOCs is for knowledge to be disseminated to a global set of learners in an open-learning environment.
