ABSTRACT
This chapter offers a brief response to Part II of the handbook that calls attention to the importance of discourses for energy democracy research and practice. This response focuses on the themes that span particular keywords—energy security, energy poverty, energy colonialism, and Energy Dominance—covered in the chapters in this section. Then the response offers some future directions for continued research on discourses of energy democracy.
