ABSTRACT
This chapter charts the course of a series of abrupt administrative changes, tectonic in their effect on an established writing center and experienced director forced to adapt. It suggests to readers a series of disaster-preparedness plans when dealing with shifting upper administration or the arrival of a senior administrator openly hostile to a writing center.
