ABSTRACT
This chapter offers a glimpse into a spatial and temporal account of how law interacts with the particular social context of coastal climate change adaptation in New South Wales, Australia. The core argument reflects on this social context to both illustrate and reflect on scholars’ positionality when engaging in empirical research. Because of the inter- and multi-disciplinary features of legal geography scholarship, the chapter concludes with observations on what this reflection can offer legal geography scholarship.
