ABSTRACT
557 On the 1st of June the exhibition of works of Art by female artists, as announced in the Art-Journal for the month of May, was opened at the gallery, 315, Oxford Street. The collection contains 358 works of every kind, including original pictures in oil and water-colours, and a very few copies from Reynolds and other deceased masters, ehielly of the old schools. The number of contributors is 145.
