ABSTRACT
There is no need for a comma between the last two items of a Iist which are joined by and. However, note the following:
Zoe went to Boots, W.H. Smith, Sainsbury's, and Marks and Spencers.
The comma before and shows that Marks and Spencers go together and means one shop.
