Deborah Anna Leibnitz talks to Milner, among other things about what Winnicott thought of Lacan. The conversation begins with Milner drawing a blank on Lacan but gets around to Milner’s perspective on many of her psychoanalytic contemporaries and her patient Susan and ends locating the conversation in time, speaking about Margaret Thatcher’s resignation.
