ABSTRACT

Students learn and think differently from one another. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles give a framework for providing multiple ways of accessing, expressing, and engaging with new learning. When teachers create different paths to the same learning objectives, students can learn in the ways that suit them best. This chapter offers an approach for capturing the attention of teachers and motivating them to use UDL by creating a short, engaging, and innovative UDL first impression through the incorporation of Lego building blocks.
