ABSTRACT
This is the story of what happens to relatively sane people when they have to deal with the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process. As mothers of boys with Down’s syndrome, we have dealt with the three powers of education, health and social care since the moment of their birth. Knowing many other parents who are in the same position, we have a story to tell: of love, of loss and, frankly, of frustration.
