ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Stefanie Hessler discusses how systems thinking can inform interdisciplinary curatorial practice. Alongside two examples, the 2018 Athens Biennale and the 2017 traveling exhibition Tidalectics, the author describes how spaces in-between disciplines can be productive to discuss and promote complex issues from intersectional feminism and politics to ecology and how a systems approach can be useful for art and science collaborations.
