ABSTRACT
This chapter lists a number of challenges standing in the way of forging BCIM sub-regional cooperation. It argues in favour of a policy of open regionalism and seamless connectivity as the guiding principles for BCIM. A dual track approach consisting of both institution-guided as well as market-guided regional integration has been suggested for BCIM.
