ABSTRACT
This chapter places issues of Olympic and Paralympic nationality within the context of sport, nationality and citizenship more generally. To do this it first examines some key contextual and historical issues, including how the law has responded to such disputes and tensions, before proceeding to examine the Olympic and Paralympic regulations themselves, and concluding with some suggestions as to how this complex issue might be resolved in the future.
