ABSTRACT

The Gremi IV phase allowed the research teams to study the historical trajectories of the structural adjustments of innovative milieux. The dynamic analysis of production and market spaces supplied with a series of important elements relative to support spaces either built by the firms themselves or brought about by factors linked to the territorial environment. The investigation allowed students to underline some original and very important forms of organisation in the context of additional structuring of the authors reference milieu. The problem arises when the centripetal or the centrifugal forces become dominant and exclusive of the other. The evolution of the electronics milieu has shown an interesting dynamic of organisation and apprenticeships. In the mechanical and electronics sectors, the diffusion and reinforcement of a new economic-spatial structure of inter-relations among local small and medium-sized enterprises was noticeable. The historical structure and dynamic of the Ticino district’s dependence came up against an important rupture.
