ABSTRACT
Haft Bucs adapts Robert Barton’s Rehearsed Futures exercise into an improvisational exploration of fantasized scenic outcomes. “Improvised Fantasies” is both a playful and illuminating examination whereby one actor verbalizes and then improvises their character’s fantasy first of the perfect outcome of achieving their objective, followed by the worst possible outcome. These improvisations bring the obstacle into greater resonance.
