ABSTRACT
Alpern and Covey have created a synergy of exercises that playfully combine voice and breath work with playable tactics. This chapter features the “Tactic Verb Relay” and other exercises that incorporate partner work to solidify the progressive connection between breath, sound, text, and playable actions. “Relaying Action – from Breath to Text” includes ready-to-go lesson plans for students with a range of experience.
