ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at the risks and opportunities from the point of view of the customer and also from the point of view of the consulting institute. It focuses on how internal group relations conferences (GRCs) can be considered valuable to the companies and their employees. Managers and members in the organization wanting to take part in an in-house GRC, sometimes express a need for deeper learning in the pre-phases of a GRC. In-house GRCs help to develop an understanding of leadership, of self-management in role and of systems thinking and to transfer this into the inner world of an organization. In order to be the sponsor of an in-house GRC, it is necessary to have the financial resources available. The GRCs were mostly attended by managers of those corporations, first level, second level and third level in the hierarchies. The dynamics around fear, competition, regarding the organizational context back home, nevertheless happen in GRCs and are part of discussions.
