ABSTRACT
This chapter explores an unorthodox approach to dramaturgy, in which Izumi Ashizawa discusses her work with indigenous playwright Ajuawak Kapashesit to deconstruct conventional methodology, establishing a collaborative language. This play’s development process became a true example of collaboration between artists with different minority cultural backgrounds in service of a new creation, The Patron Saint of the Lost Children.
