ABSTRACT
It is now over five years since the first pilot clinical outcome indicators were produced by ISD Scotland for the Clinical Outcomes Working Group of the National Health Service in Scotland. Since then over 30 indicators have been published at hospital, Trust or Health Board level in five reports.
