ABSTRACT
This chapter narrates the invisible yet palpable, almost physical memory retained in ephemeral places of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The author explores and articulates a spatial logic resembling a dialectic that reflects a sometimes-hidden history of political, economic, social, and material contradiction.
