ABSTRACT
Beyond compliance with the law and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code®, behavior analysts must also engage in professional behavior. Unfortunately, the definition of what constitutes “professional” behavior can be somewhat elusive. In this chapter, we will approach professionalism through a behavioral lens, separating those behaviors or aspects which may be considered “professional” and those which may simply make others uncomfortable.
